Choose a "Behind the Scenes" tour and see how our hundreds of items are cared for.
Walk through the workshops, explore the Archives Department and the research facilities. Visit the Textile Department where a textile conservator will provide a descriptive commentary.
Costs: For a hosted tour, there is an extra fee of $1.00 per person added to the entrance fee.

Tour Bus Operators
Make the Warkworth and District Museum a stop on your tour. There are many displays, both indoor and out to make it a very interesting and worthwhile experience for your tour party.
There are clean, easy access toilet facilities available.
Your party can browse at their leisure among the numerous displays, or we are able to provide hosted tours.
We have a well stocked souvenir shop with good quality New Zealand-made articles. Ice-creams and drinks are also available.
